The AlterFestival of economics lands in Turin! Launched in 2012 in Trento as a space open to points of view alternative to the neoliberal economic mainstream and now organized by Generazioni Future in Turin, AlterFestival Torino addresses the recent transformation of neoliberalism into war capitalism with three study and debate events which see the contribution of famous "heterodox" economists such as Joseph Halevi and Jan Toporowski, or critical jurists such as Ugo Mattei and Avi Singh, all professors at the International University College of Turin, which ensures scientific supervision at the event. The AlterFestival Torino meetings are held at the Luigi Einaudi Campus of the University of Turin, and offer themselves as a laboratory of critical ideas with respect to the dominant verb - that of the war economy, speculative finance, and the global capitalist market.
