• Research-active participants include faculty members, research fellows, associates, and graduate students in the Preparatory Doctoral program.

•  There is a common thread underpinning IUC research contributions. This is a desire to interrogate and rejuvenate legal categories, economic theories, and the study of organizations, in an effort to understand and describe the wealth of commoning experiments that are afoot the world over.

•  This aspiration is pursued in its multiple research streams through ecological and comparative perspectives on the law, generative and process approaches to an organization, critical political economy, and human rights practice.
