Maurizio Veglio
Maurizio Veglio is a clinical faculty member at the IUC, and a lawyer – admitted to the Turin bar – specializing in immigration law. He spent five years working on the editorial staff of Narcomafie, a monthly magazine focusing on organized crime and geopolitics, published by the Turin-based association Gruppo Abele. In addition, Maurizio has contributed features and op-eds to a number of other national newspapers (Il manifesto, Il Nostro tempo, Fuoriluogo, Antimafia 2000, Carta). Since 2006, he has been a member of the Association for Legal Studies on Migration (ASGI), as well as having been an academic visitor, during his legal studies and training, at the University of Westminster in London.
